#StyleMeMarch Day 2: "Perfectly Parisian"

J. Crew schoolboy blazer and cuff,  Target tee and scarf, Express jeans, Urban Outfitters boots (killer investment piece), Anthropologie belt

What better Parisian's style to emulate than the Queen Bee of Paris fashion? Emmanuelle Alt, the editor of Vogue Paris, obviously has killer style. Her looks are always void of color, featuring only black, white, shades of gray, occasionally blue denim, and lots of leather. She's rarely ever caught without a staple blazer and she always rocks either black heeled boots or black pumps. She's very simplistic in other accessories, basically only sporting scarves, sunglasses, and a belt, and hardly any jewelry. She always has a fresh face with naturally polished hair. She's effortlessly chic and the epitome of French street-style.

I really didn't expect this challenge to inspire a new combination for me so quickly. Without this prompt, I probably would have never thought to put a gray tee with a gray blazer. It was also a nice to not have to clunk around in so much jewelry. To finish off the look, I tried to keep my makeup very natural as well. I'll definitely channel Emmanuelle more often because this look made me feel tres chic. Oui!
