On holiday

Anthropologie pants // Madewell sweater [similar] // J. Crew necklace [fun idea] // Nordstrom shoes [similar]
This has been the craziest, quickest, sweetest year. Marriage, a new job, travels to eight states in six months [which was only made possible because of the new job], and a puppy. It's been a year of blessings. There have been a lot of major answers to prayer through my mom's surgery, among other family members' health trials, along with God's outstanding provision in other ways. We're looking forward to a happy and healthy 2017.

For Christmas, Champ and I flew with our three month old mini golden doodle, Winnie, to Arizona to visit his family. Although it's been a little cooler and rainier than we had initially hoped for, it has been a refreshing vacation. And Winnie is quite the well-versed traveler, succeeding in flying under the radar from the other passengers and didn't even make a peep.

While in Arizona, I outfitted my gold sequin pants for a sparkly Christmas Eve look that I am seriously considering recycling for New Year's Eve. The neutrals are a perfect palette for the glitz and sparkle. I added my current favorite holiday lip to bring in a little dimension. I'm wearing MAC Lip Pencil in Redd + Lipstick in New York Apple.

If you're looking to coordinate the man in your life for the holidays, Bonobos pants are the perfect fit, with a wide selection from chinos to dress pants to denim. As a personal stylist, I always loved their pants for the guys as they wear well, have great cuts, and a broad variety of colors and washes. They're even a great idea for last minute gifts, if you're still searching.

What are you wearing for the holidays?
